Devanagri as well as Roman scripts. In the process, an attempt has been made to
standardize the use of Roman script for writing the Hindi alphabet so as to make
it easy for the English-speaking learners to pick up correct pronunciation and comprehend the
numerous phonetic intricacies of he
language. It is done by the combination of Roman letters to present the Hindi
alphabet and the use to signs and symbols without indulging in the linguistic
details or sacrificing the standard norms. The author strives to simplify and
popularize the teaching and learning of
Hindi by correlating it to the prevalent multicultural environment, social life and language of the learners and their
families. Thereby, the learning of Hindi
