Sarita Mehta, a product of the Punjab University, Chandigarh, and the Punjabi University  Patiala  (Punjabi), India, has had a very brilliant academic career. An eminent artist, poetess And renowned writer of Hindi and Punjabi literature, she is a dedicated teacher and  Academician  of  long  standing.  Equipped  with   the  degrees  of  M.A. (Fine Arts), M.Ed.,  besides Diploma in Journalism and three years Advance   Diploma in Russian  Language,

 Sarita  Mehta  had  pursued  teaching  profession  as a career  for over  Two decades, at  the various  educational  institutions, including  Dev  Samaj College  of  Education, Chandigarh, before  shifting  to USA as NRI. She  as  a  rich  experience  of  Organizing and conducting educational workshops, seminars  and conferences at national  International levels, and  has contributed  a number of research papers and monographs in  Reputed  journals in the fields of fine arts, education and sociology. A widely traveled person Sarita Mehta, during  one of  her  sojourns in Philippines, Russia, U.K., France, Canada,  and   USA   in   connection   with a research   project,  entitled,   Comparative  Study  of  Educational  Systems’ in  these  countries,  was  a  delegate  at  the Sandwell  College,  London, in June1999.Her keen interest  in   the various socio-religious  Problems  of  the modern  global society,  motivated  her  to  enroll  herself  as  a regular student  in  the  Unification  Theological  Seminary, New York,  from where she obtained  the  Master’s  Degree in Religious Education in June 2003. The publication of this book, entitled  "Aao Hindi Sikhen"   (Let us Learn  Hindi ) through the English medium, is  the direct  outcome  of  her  current  pre-occupation  with  the  teaching and  popularization of  Hindi language and literature in USA.
